Our story
A tower, a chipper
and one arborist
Tree Top Tower Hire is a locally owned Ballarat business directed by Jason Scholten, who has over 30 years' experience in the industry. Jason took over the company in 2002, starting with just a tower, a chipper and himself.
The company provides a wide range of quality tree care services in the Central Highland Region of Creswick, Ballarat and Daylesford, Western Victoria and the Metropolitan Melbourne area, as well as interstate for large projects. We currently employ 25 field staff and 3 office staff.
Our passionate and qualified staff are trained to work across a variety of projects, such as working in the proximity of a rail or road corridor, or working close to powerlines.

Environmentally conscious
We use only the safest methods and techniques for tree work and removal, and we recycle what comes off the job. Chip becomes mulch, grindings become soil conditioner, and timber is recovered where it can be.
Trained for the corridor
Power line, rail and road corridor work each carry their own safety regime. Our technicians hold current qualifications updated yearly and our crews plan work around possessions, outages and traffic.

Our experts will customise a service based on your individual needs, the layout of your job site and your budget, rather than forcing every job through the same method.
Local, and staying that way
Ballarat owned, Ballarat based, with the yard at Charlesworth Street. We travel across Victoria and interstate for large projects, but the business belongs here.
